This is a “Serenity Zone” – there is no TV or telephone. A DVD and a VHS player are, however, at your disposition. You can rent movies just two blocks away. A radio/CD player combination is provided as well, so you may enjoy the CD’s you bring with you. A well stocked bookshelf with used books and magazines offers entertainment. At home - A la maison is kid-friendly. There is a covered sandbox and a swing set for kids to play with outdoors. For indoor fun, try solving one of the puzzles or your luck at a table game. Out of the house activities include nearby: Play fields, a public library, internet-café, bookstores, music-store, antique-shops, live-music venues, theater, fine arts center, tennis courts, active waterfront and pier (watch the big boats come in!), and many hiking trails - the Olympic National Park is nearby. *No smoking, small pets OK. |
